Selection to the post of secretary
The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan
Requirements: 1. University degree or equivalent education; 2. Proven Knowledge of Kazakh, Russian and English languages at least at proficient user level (C1); good ability to formulate thoughts in writing and orally, understanding of regulatory language; 3. Ability to work with a computer (MS Office software package); 4. Knowledge of the specifics of Kazakh diplomatic protocol and etiquette.
Main functions: 1. Organizing and planning the agenda and the meetings of the Head of Mission 2. Ensuring an orderly and systematic inbound and outbound mail distribution and dispatch; 3. Handling official correspondence (protocol notes, official letters, citizen enquiries, projects of official documents, etc.) 4. Replying to phone calls during the official working hours of the Embassy; 5. Receiving documents and inquiries for visas, giving actual information on consular questions, entering data into consular system; providing assistance to Consul regarding other consular issues; 6. Participating in the organization of the Embassy's cultural, educational and protocol events, taking care of visitors' reception at the Embassy;
Advantages: 1. Basic knowledge of Lithuanian language, used for working with document management system; 2. Prior work experience in governmental/diplomatic institutions.
