On 5-7 December, Lithuania's Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis is paying an official visit to Astana, Kazakhstan. During the visit, Landsbergis will hold meetings with the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Prime Minister Älihan Smaiylov, the Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tileuberdi, and the Chairperson of the Senate of the Parliament Maulen Ashimbayev.

On 1 December, Lithuania's Minister of Foreign Affairs Gabrielius Landsbergis attended the Ministerial Council of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in Łódź, Poland. The OSCE Foreign Ministers have met for the first time since Russia began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

On 1 December, a representative of the Russian Embassy to Lithuania was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was handed a note declaring an employee of Russia's Embassy persona non grata (PNG) in Lithuania for activities incompatible with his diplomatic status. He is ordered to leave the country within five days.

Today, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden are visiting Kyiv. This is the biggest international visit to Kyiv from the beginning of Russia's war against Ukraine, and it is yet another proof of a common approach to European security and Ukraine's role in it.

On 22-24 November, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Jovita Neliupšienė is visiting Ukraine. In Kyiv, together with a delegation of women from European countries - Austria, Croatia, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Romania and Germany - met with Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska and talked about the upcoming plans to survive the winter and the further, inevitably European, future of Ukraine.
