The event focused on the security problems posed by the Ostrovets nuclear power plant (NPP). The Center for International Strategic Analyses (KEDISA) co-organised the webinar with the Embassy of Lithuania in Greece.

On 23 November, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Neris Germanas took part in a video conference of the EU Development Ministers. The meeting focused on the issue of debt relief, notably in the context of the COVID-19 global response and recovery effort. In addition, Development Ministers discussed how to promote gender equality in the light of the forthcoming Joint Communication on the EU Gender Action Plan (GAP) III: An Ambitious Agenda for Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment in EU External Action.

On 21 November, the second round of parliamentary elections was held in Georgia. We congratulate the people of Georgia on having expressed their will in the parliamentary elections, which were conducted under the new electoral system, allowing a wider range of political forces to be represented in the new Parliament.

On 16 November, the Acting Minister Linas Linkevičius held a virtual meeting to bid farewell to the outgoing Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Lithuania Fahad M. Alruwaily. The Foreign Minister thanked the Ambassador for his personal contribution to the development of friendly bilateral relations and expressed hope that both countries would continue their efforts to strengthen their cooperation.
